Republic of Congo's win in Los Angeles last edition,we will now be heading to Brazzaville!
UPDATED RULES (please read)
1. Countries are represented by artists that are from the represented country or are currently living in the represented countries. There will be case by case exemptions for smaller countries (Monaco, Andorra, etc.) If the country it is borrowing from isn’t taken, the user will be directed to participate for the “borrowed” country.
2. Voting done Eurovision style (12,10,8-1 points)
3. Any country in the world is allowed to participate.
4. If in the case of semi-finals, there will be a wildcard round where the 11th places will face off for the 26th spot in the Grand Final.
5. In the case of semi-finals, the top 5 placing users will automatically qualify to the Grand Final of the following edition. These users are highly encouraged to participate with the country they previously participated with.
6. 31 countries are needed for the occurrence of semi-finals.
7. Not necessarily a rule, but originality in entries is encouraged.
8. If a user would like to become a permanent delegation for a certain country, they can specify after participating in one contest. Permanent delegations are welcomed and encouraged.
9. Voting begins upon the upload of the video and concludes 5 days following it. Specific dates and times will be given based on each edition.
10. Starting after the 2nd edition, the winning user must participate with the same country they won with. This is to ensure there is a “home entry” participating.
11. Each user is only allowed to participate with ONE country.
12. If a user’s votes are not received by the deadline and after multiple notifications, their entry will be disqualified, and they will be barred from the following edition. After 3 times of not voting, the user will be banned permanently from the contest.
13. No Eurovision songs are allowed to participate (duh).
