WWW Song Contest #82

18th! I was hoping to obtain the top 15 I was in until after the 46th / 49 voter, but well it wasn't meant to be this time. However thinking about it it's an okay outcome for this entry. And even more since I didn't even expect to qualify lol. Thanks particularly for Italy's and Latvia's and everyone else who contributed to these 86 points. It'd have been funny had I ended up with 88 points just because I was at 44 after the first half.
I also love that progress I had. Somewhere in the beginning I was 4th, then dropped to the bottom 5 and suddenly was 10th again lol. Either way I'm really happy Marius was appreciated.


If I may leave a few more thoughts about the results:

I'm not quite sure what to think about the winner. :/ I mean Gabriella's voice definitely deserved every single one of these 231 points, but the song itself didn't give me anything and if I remember correctly I first placed it around 15th, but then decided to give it for the vocals (not that it would've mattered in any way though).
Well first off congrats for 2nd place. As for myself this wasn't a very special song either ... :/
Mexico, Italy, the Netherlands and France: Omg this songs were all so good! I mean there's a reason why they all were in my top 5 lol and I'm really happy seeing all of them in top 10. While Mexico and Italy were never not going up there imo, I'm pleasantly surprised by the other 2. But I have to say that in France's (?) case (same counts for Finland btw.) I didn't even notice until seconds ago. Might be because both came up there quite unnoticed (aka with only 2x ) - at least by me lol.
and Wooo congrats Grace and Stanislav for that debut. Personally I got quite mixed feelings about them though lol. On one hand I was actually debating to -ing New Zealand just like I already had in the semi final - whereas Russia was actually my last in here. 

Generally I believe Im okay with the top 10 though.


Moving down the scoreboard I did not exactly expect Javiera (I realized that my prediction was harsh.) and Barbara in (respectively almost in) top 10 at all - while I thought Naama (still overrated imho) and Mia were easily making it. And about the rest I'm a bit sad for JC (another possible top 10 imo) and Siri for having missed the top 15 and although I never expected different I'm questioning Raiven's 23rd place a lot!

About the bottom: Thinking back at it, I unfortunately have to say that Soulè's last place (tho that "What do you know? What do you know?" etc. part was so good) and Indonesia placing 26th isn't exactly a surprise either. And Sweden was maybe forgotten in between these other songs?
