Liza Monet (born Alexandra Miatsonama on 12/04/1989) is the daughter of one of the biggest names in Congolese music, Aurlus Mabélé, and a Reunionese mother. She has become a notable artist of her own accord, with a wild ride of a life story. At sixteen, she became pregnant with twins. She then stops classes, but also undergoes a voluntary termination of pregnancy proposed by her mother. In 2016, her partner beat her and she had a short coma. She turned to prostitution after leaving school at the age of sixteen. Working as a masseuse, she receives proposals which she ends up accepting. She then turned in several pornographic films under the pseudonym Candy B. before starting her musical career. She claims that, beaten by her partner in era and not being able to pay her rent, she shot in these films. If she says that she "does not spit on [the period of prostitution], because I made my money", she says that she regrets pornography, to the point of thinking of committing suicide. Her father also cut her off for this reason, although she later said that she had reconciled with her parents. Several male artists have since refused to collaborate with her because of her past as a pornographic actress.
