After this edition, I will join France's protest. 28th? Really? Do you even know what retro means? If this continues in this way, I will stop my participation after the 100th edition, as well. Winning twice in the last few months and then such a comment  Well, I needed to send such songs in order to win. However, if this song from Funky G which had all the spirits of 90s got this result... I really have nothing to say.  |

Anyways... I'm so happy for  Nijat, I've been an Azerbaijani supporter for a while now & to see them from being so underrated to now finally winning in my own country it's so satisfying !!  As for myself, this is the 4th time I got a 5th place  not complaining though but I would to see some variety in my placements. Really happy about this result, Cecilia is such a legend I am glad she got the recognition she deserves (with 1970's song). Special thanks to  Ukraine, wasn't expecting that from them  also to every single one of you who voted or liked it Appreciate you so much See you in Baku |

You do have a right to protest and express your feelings, however, we also have a right to disagree with you. And it's also weird to see something like that coming from you, when you have won twice, with a pre-90's and also a post 2000's (if i'm not mistaken) and also won an award with the latter. It just seems like you're upset about your recent result but instead decided to blame the rule of songs from the 2000's being allowed more than anything, which is again weird when you have won with an "old song" yourself, and also I just have achieved top5 with a pre 90s song as well |

What just happened?  Anyway a short reaction post of mine as well:  17th! I'm quite happy with this result myself 'cause I thought I was going to place out of the top 20 (for a bottom 5 as I wrote before, I think my song was too catchy though) so thanks for 51 points. Btw. a fun fact regarding those points: Except for the  I received a whole set of  -  . But instead of said I got both  and twice.
 Safura was always going to do well in this imo. But didn't see her actually winning. Congrats to Nijat in that case after 7x (?) 2nd places a truly well deserved win. I'm happy also with  Finland,  Chile and  Japan ending in the top 10 as well as  Latvia just missing out on that.  Germany,  Ireland,  Canada,  Bosnia & Herzegowina,  Armenia and  the Philippines however all didn't get what they deserved whereas I find only  Italy very overrated. However I love that not many people voted for it (most of them being  +) and yet it placed 6th lol.   The 2nd place streak has been broken. Probably not in the way it was wished for though. |

Everything as usual. Normally. I do not strive for high results... I do not strive for any results at all, and I do not even think about them. I just participate and listen to music. Full playlist every time. Therefore,  Chile received 12 points. Because 20 seconds is too short to hear the song! Perhaps this is why I did not vote for Azerbaijan this time, but I congratulate you on your long-awaited victory!  And thanks for hosting!  |

Even though my song is strong enough to win, it's not a secret, that I wasn't expecting it and it wasn't gonna happen. I mean, it's 2020, not 2011-2012, when it was popular... though I was hoping it could at least attempt to go for 8th place, which is one of the positions I still haven't achieved... but I guess it wasn't meant to be... one interesting statistic, that I've noticed lately (not only in Retro), is that I receive votes from about 1/3 of all voters... obviously that's never gonna be enough to fight for something high... I mean 12th is not bad, but it's not 8th and it's definitely not any of the positions that participate in awards... though I have no idea, which song would be able to give me any of those results... I have a list of songs, but I have no clue, how they would do, so I literally just take a random song from the list most of the time... all I can do is just try again and again... Anyway, to more positive things - congratulations nijat for your win. From the top3 that was the only song I would've liked to see winning and I'm glad it did. Thank's to everyone, who awarded some points. I appreciate it And thank's once again Jasna for yet another edition |
