Egyptian entry revealed! 
Sarah Badr, better known by her stage name of FRKTL, an artist, producer, and singer who currently lives between Cairo, London, and Riga will represent Egypt in the first edition of Randovision Song Contest!FRKTL is a classically trained multi-instrumentalist utilising live sampling and improv, vocal manipulation, field recordings and generative rhythms, she composes immersive, hypnotic and haunting explorations of sound. She also is a designer specializing in branding, creative computing, and digital media; a co-founder of Artillery 35, a multidisciplinary design studio based in Riga; and an audiovisual artist, producer, and composer releasing music as FRKTL since 2011; as well as a curator of the Cairowire news feed for political and economic affairs in Egypt. Prior to all of that, she was alead designer and strategist at Beirut-based music technology startup Band Industries, a film production assistant and translator at iFixit in San Luis Obispo, and a graphics editor and a writing contributor to digital arts and new media technology magazines in London, New York, and Stockholm
She will perform "Descent" in the inaugural edition of Randovision Song Contest.
