Did it frighten you, how we kissed when we danced on the light up floor?

I'm not a parent yet but I know they would give their all (even their own lives) for their children. It's just very sad and I think the murderer is still young.

I'm going to respond in 2 ways, 1 as me (my normal self) and 2 as in the context of being a qualified teacher.
1. My personal thoughts
All I can say is that is really does disgust me how that bastard could have looked at the face of an innocent young child and pulled the trigger, he's not only ruined the lives of many families, shocked the USA and world itself but he's done something so inhumane that it serves to question why does the USA have such an easy law with owning a gun?
As much as I love the USA myself, I really do think it's time the US government re-think the laws on guns especially when (according to media) the gun was owned under the name of his mother!

2. As a teacher
All I can say in this perspective is that I take my hat off to the teachers of that school who's courage and quick minded actions were used to save as many children as possible. I also give respect to the teachers in the sense that they must have been scared as much as the children were but had to protect their students because, even if you hate a teacher - our job during the school hours is to protect ALL students no matter what your gender, race, religion, status of family income, your family history or whether your homosexual or heterosexual - our job is to educate and to protect at the same time because the moment a student steps foot into the classroom, they're the teachers responsibility until the end of the lesson... and what those teachers had to deal with - I would never forgive myself if I didn't save my students.

This was such a horrible event and that fact that it hits so close to home makes it that much worse. None of them deserved to die like this Please keep the victims and their families in your thoughts and prayers this holiday season. Thank you
