Winners: My bet for the victory was on  Italy,  the UK, and  Malta; so I am not surprised they completed the top 3. Congratulations to Italy for being awarded as the best song of the century, it was one of the better songs of the category in my opinion.
2nd places: I was so ready for the last place and it happened. Still, I am very glad to have advanced to the All-Stars Awards, it was a pleasure to participate here. Thank you to everyone that awarded higher points to  Azerbaijan, with   Cyprus;   Latvia;  Philippines; and  Mexico deserving special appreciation  Apparently, after Gilberto's votes I finally avoided the last place, but that happiness did not last long. Congratulations to  Portugal for the victory
3rd places: Not much pleased with the results of this category. Would have loved to see   Canada and  Croatia higher. Congratulations to Spain for the victory, apparently 99 editions were not enough to find a more loved 3rd place in the contest
4th category: This was my favourite category, and I am glad to see both  Finnish entries and  Indonesia doing so well.  Denmark could have been higher. I am not displeased with the winner either, once again congratulations, Italy
Apparently, all of the winners came from Southern European countries with Romance languages. Special shout-out to Italy for winning two categories of the century, a really big achievement Hope to see you in the awards dedicated to All Stars' winners (after 900 editions)

So this was a sweep for the Romance languages.  -  -  - 4th- Not surprised really. They're beautiful winners in their own right. Especially joyful for "Hijo de la luna" winning in the 3rd place category.  Here's to 100 editions of RWWWSC and maybe another 100 more!  |
