For this edition I decided to go for a rock entry, which is a genre I haven't done in a few editions now.  And who could do that better than the act who scored the only win for  Switzerland in the first #100 editions of Retro Wwwsc? In other words this entry is a dedication of mine to a) my (rather unsuccessful) first century in it and b) my very first entry that took part in  #1. I have my doubts that anyone remembers it, but I did a hard rock song from the early 80s. In other words our very famous rock band Gotthard will take part for the third time. After two energetic songs they'll now present themselves with a very emotional ballad. Gotthard - One Life, One Soul

And as for the image I'd like you to re-use the one from  #70. Why exactly this song? It's now a little more than 10 years ago that a group of 21 Swiss motorcyclist went for a trip to the United States. On the 5th October 2010 at 15:15 h a tragic accident happened which caused Steve Lee, the band's vocalist to loose his life. However even after all these years he's still well remembered. Hope you will like this entry. |
