Guess I'm stronger than you thought I was.First things first,
THANK YOU ALL. It's been over six hours and I'm still in shock. I truly did
not expect to qualify at all (I can't even say "thank you for the heart attack announcing me last" because I had accepted my non-qualification before the results had even started) so thank you to each and every one of you who brought
Lebanon back to the final in my debut edition.
Life has not been great for me recently and I'm really having to look for small positives to take out of it; I would not be lying if I said qualifying has been one of the highlights of my November - not because it's a 'qualification' per se, but more because it means that other people connected with "Stronger" and found it as beautiful as I did. Of course there's no way I'm going to forget my Co-HoD:
Lars , there is nobody I would rather be able to share this (unexpected) qualification with than you.
DELIGHTED to see this qualify. Such an upgrade from anything Latvia's sent since "By the Lake" and it non-qualifying would have been an injustice. Congratulations Luiri, totally deserved with your new country
An absolute BOP. Wasn't sure if this would qualify but I'm happy to see it through. MIRA MIRA MIRA.
Not a huge fan of this, sadly. I expected it to qualify though.
Expected qualifier, it wasn't one of my favourites in this semi-final but it's still a good song.
A WHOPPER of a song, this was always going to qualify (but its qualification is no less deserved). I do fear it has started to grow off me a little, however.
Another BANGER. This was always a sure qualifier for me and I'm extremely happy it made it.
HOW is this eight years old? When I get older I can only dream of aging as well as "Pedestrians". Stunning entry and overjoyed it qualified
I won't be jumping on the hype train for this any time soon, it's just not my thing at all. Congratulations on returning to the final though.
I wasn't sure if this would qualify or not; not among my favourites in this semi-final but I do rather like it. It could grow on me a lot.

Rytis, what happened sweetie? "Elegantiškai sninga" feels like a century ago. I appreciated the pro-opposition sentiment of "Laisvė" and I unironically like the song, but musically it far too lacking for me to award it points. Thank you for letting me be your Co-HoD from #27 to #30 though
Really sad for this. I just hope it avoids the PQR because it was a really beautiful entry that deserved a lot better.
A solid entry, better in full than in the recap in my opinion, but it just wasn't good enough in this semi to get points from me. Wouldn't have minded it qualifying though.
And so the streak ends. It really shouldn't have, because "Viva Mahalla" was a BOP that should have qualified. Rudis, I'm really sorry that your debut didn't turn out the same way as mine did </3
I was going to give this more points but in the end I changed it to 2. A really nice entry to listen to which should not have been Australia's first NQ.
Turkish music is really not my thing but this wasn't too bad, although it was among my least favourites in this semi.
A ROBBERY. I didn't know if this would make it but I really wanted it to. This was so catchy and honestly a banger.
This never had any chances; it's not a bad song at all but it was one of the weaker ones in this semi, unfortunately.
ROBBED. I wanted to give this more than 5, but I loved my top five songs just a little more. At first, I didn't expect "Cold" to qualify but when I saw its positive reactions in the stream I thought it could make it, but sadly it wasn't to be. If this PQR's, I will be furious.
In general, a really enjoyable semi-final and one which I really struggled to decide my points for - I genuinely liked 17 of the 19 songs and even my bottom two weren't THAT bad. I only gave points to half the qualifiers, but because I liked so many of the songs in this semi I'm still pretty happy with the results. Bring on semi-final two and once again THANK YOU for voting for
Lebanon
