Omg I came 17th? That just exceeded all of my expectations for this edition lol. Also not me scoring the 2nd best result since that 6th place 5 editions ago with an entry I feared may end up last lol. Thanks to the 6 people who voted for me. Love how 4 of them ( Armenia, Azerbaijan, Canada and Turkey) gave me . And ofc I'd also like to thank Ukraine for the for the second time in a row and France for the . Good and well deserved winner (also my , yay ) While I find Austria very overrated I'm happy for Mexico, Taiwan, Belgium (also congrats for a successful debut) and Indonesia entering the top 10. And by the way Portugal, Germany, France, India are very underrated. Also Romania was this edition an entry I didn't quite get, but its result is alright. I'm already looking forward to next edition! With that special theme it's going to be an interesting one.

Thank you very much for all your votes and for making me win on my debut in Retro WWW Song Contest. This song means a lot to me, and also for the whole country. It was written by La Oreja de Van Gogh, a famous Spanish band (also well-known in America). The song is dedicated to all the victims of the terror attack that happened in Spain in March 2004. You can find the English translation in the following link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNUIB7DC6lw&t=145sOnce again, thanks for your votes. The next contest will be held in Sant Martí de Tous, a small town in Catalonia (Spain) where my family currently lives (and I did for a certain time). Let's enjoy the music!

Fun fact: You won both contests in your debut edition (within just a few months) and in both cases it's the first Spanish win after a long time.

Congratulations to Spain! This edition I liked more original and unexpected entries from some countries, it's a pity that they are so low on the scoreboard... My plans changed, as I wanted to send a rather old song related to the New Year here, but it turned out that the next edition would be limited to the release date of the songs, so I had to quickly find a replacement. Thank you to everyone who voted for & Mika! Not my best choice, but it was the first thing that came to mind when I decided to save the song for the next edition. And many thanks for hosting!
