I hope hope this looks well ... Iceland confirms!Attention: The originality is really high here. Back in 2018  British electronic producer Richard Norris and Icelandic tenor Finnur Bjarnason teamed up for a new project. As a result they released a 4 songs EP called Restoration under the "band name" The long now. Now they're chosen to represent Finnur's country with the title track of said EP. The song (which I think is quite the song along track) also happens to be the most popular one - if you want to call just above 7'000 streams on Spotify and 2000 views on Youtube within 2.5 years popularity lol. Also the entire act has 43 monthly listened when I checked a few weeks ago - that's about how famous this is lol. Here is: The long now - RestorationTimeslot: I mean lol. But well I would like 0:48+ (after the hahaha or whatever he says) just to show it has also a different part. 
What is this? And why do I do this? Restoration was actually played on the radio back then. The host described it as: "The feeling this song carries is like when you're driving through a plan boring landscape (you know like the images of a plain with only 1 tree) with your head on your arm and looking out the window and just nothing happens." - Which is also what the video shows. So basically it's an anthem of boredom lol. I somehow liked it a lot and had it in my playlist ever since. Recently I was wondering how it would possibly do in a contest. But since I'm probably the only one here to like it, I guess I need to do it myself. And Osc is the by far biggest contest here where you can just take an available country for 1 edition. It's obviously going to be a last place in the semi final (and likely with  ), but I still hope you will like it.  |
