If any Russian entry was against these sorts of things it would be this one. I didn't say the song was bad. But it's not something people will remember, either.
People are going to remember  and  and  because they surprised us when they were revealed. Yes,  was a surprise, too, but at what cost? I like shock, but then again this song slides off my brain. If you like the song, good. It's your opinion.

I would argue Russia was the most memorable song of the entire Semi, if not then definitely in my top 3. It’s certainly more unique than a flag sanMarino a decent but run of the mill pop song, what some may say is a repeat from 2020 and a good rock song that could be from any country any time since 2000. I do like all these songs but Russian women is an modern pop verse ethnic pre-chorus a folky ballad chorus. |

Well im just great to have Eurovision back but what a show! Full thoughts:  This was always gonna qualify but the performance genuinely impressed me still Another safe Q, Im not sure how I feel about the song but Manizha deserves it 100%  I thought for a moment he might NQ but thankfully I was wrong  Totally obvious qualifying but this has some serious potential I underestimated  Im genuinely so happy for Tix that he qualified, so deserved   After such a horrible week Im happy Israelis have something positive to celebrate, amazing performance  It stood out well and thats what saved it i think  Somewhat a surprise but the live was good  Ok this was AMAZING, possible top 10 alert  Wow, the doubts i had are gone, this is back in contention for the trophy And for the NQs  Not shocked here, her voice is amazing but the song lacks something  Really sad for Montaigne but she never stood a chance...  Firstly an amazing voice, perhaps the best tonight but the song was so weak  Great staging, weak vocals killed it  The shock NQ, the performance was amazing and isk what went wrong  I felt the song was weak but I still feel really bad for Roxen |

What a show, just wow. Don’t mind me writing this at almost 6 AM but I just couldn’t sleep after too much excitement and goosebumps tonight. Pretty predictable results if I must say, the biggest shock for me was Croatia, she delivered a great performance and the girl can sing, she just was in a wrong semifinal and sadly she had to be sacrificed among all the female bangers :’( Also really happy for , they just had the best performances and well deserved. I could live without these qualifying honestly 💀 especially Norway.... but we move on. I liked the performance and the traditional elements but the song is kinda bland, she would snapped even more with something like Cleopatra. this song grew on me in the last days and I am glad she qualified, she’s such a sweetheart, and that note at the omg she nailed it and seemed to do it effortlessly I was worried it would fail, because I for once enjoy a Belgian entry after “What’s The Pressure”. So happy they qualified even if the staging was a bit bland I’m indifferent about this song, it didn’t age well for me, but congrats I guess, it had a secured place in the final anyway oh dear this never had a chance but she performed it very well Even if I didn’t like her song that much, I feel so sorry for her... she couldn’t enjoy her Eurovision experience like others. I almost cried when she was shown in the green room before the last qualifier was announced. I hope Australia will give her another chance to return someday because she deserves it. Nonetheless it felt like she was there in arena, the staging was also very good same as Slovenia, a bland song but a good voice. nooo, this was the best performance ever I think, but you could see she was being nervous and off key at the beginning of the song, and the semi being a bloodbath didn’t help her either I don’t really care that we failed, because it was expected, even if I still had a small hope until the very end. Honestly Roxen did a great job. But I really hate the fact how the HoD of TVR threated her after she failed. She didn’t deserve all of the words that were said in her address. Really excited for the second semifinal because of Senhit. Really hope Malta wins the contest tbh |

I'm very happy with results. Most were very predictable, but there were a few surprises anyway. I'm very happy for Israel because for a moment I really thought they wouldn't pass. Fortunately, they succeeded. I think the biggest (but very good) surprise is the qualification of Belgium . Finally we saw Geike being happy . Russia has absolutely ate the competition, I have a feeling (perhaps illusory) that Manizha can really fight for victory. And finally Azerbaijan did a great job as well, I had goosebumps in the final moment. I feel so so sorry for Romania , Roxen really deserved a qualification because the performance was very difficult but interesting and pleasing to the eye. I would put Romania over Norway or Sweden but we all know that wouldn't happen. So the results are quite okay, as I said, I only miss Romania. It was also not a good idea to put Ukraine as the last qualifier because it was too obvious and at that point everyone knew the last qualifier. And finally - a very nice show. Duncan opened the show brilliantly with a drop song, Davina did great too. The show was dynamic and I can say it was pure 2 hours of joy. I even enjoyed North Macedonia Good luck to everyone tomorrow in Semi Final 2! I'm already mentally prepared for the non qualification of my favorite song of this year, Denmark  |

Hate to be negative but the results are awful in my opinion. Out of my top 10, 8 are in the first semifinal, so I knew I would lose some favourites. But seriously, the three songs I disliked all qualified? Great songs like Ireland, Romania, Croatia missed out? Idk what happened at all. I thought lesley and roxen’s vocals were fine. But my winner qualified! I knew it would happen but I’m still so so happy! The song really deserves a finalist place and I hope she can get a great result Norway and Israel qualifying were shocks to me. Israel deserved it for sure, and she hit the highest esc note ever! Wow! Norway on the other hand, I don’t think it was deserved at all, I know some like the song and ofc I’m happy for him! Ukraine surprised me a lot, and I’m glad they qualified, even if it was expected. SERIOUSLY HOW DID CROATIA NQ??? Well that’s enough of me complaining. Enjoy the second semifinal everyone, even though I know more songs I don’t like will make it to the final |

Well Eurovision came back with a banger!!!! That was such a great show I pretty much enjoyed every part of it Now thoughts on the performances: Lithuania: This was such a great opener imo, they really served. Their qualification was really expected but it was really deserved Slovenia : Vocally she was flawless, the performance was not really entertaining tbh. Although she did great, no surprises with her NQ Russia: THIS WAS SOOO GOOD OMG!!! Imagine not being proud of this entry, really powerful performance. Sweden: This felt really flat tbh, it was still good but I can't help but think it's wasting somebody's place in the final  . Since is Sweden wbk he was qualifying but... MEHHH Australia: I feel so bad for her  . Her video tape was really good tbh but the fact that she couldn't enjoy the Eurovision experience to the fullest, she seemed really defeated these last couple of days it's heartbreaking. Hope she gets to comeback one day  North Macedonia: I legit was on my phone in a lot of parts, he sold it but didn't stand a chance, wish he would've gotten a better song.. Ireland: The staging was really good, unique & impressive. it's clear that her vocals weren't great but I still wish she would've qed instead of some other countries  Cyprus: This performance made me stan this song, even though I wasn't the biggest fan. Such a serve. Norway: .... this is fine, i guess...I'm sorry I really despise this staging a lot, good for him but somebody got robbed 'cause of him I fear  Croatia: And speaking of robberies...WTF?  ? This was one of the best performances of the night!!!! and i got freaking snubbed like that, i can't believe it... Belgium: So I had written them out because I just couldn't see it Qing but omg...that was such a nice surprise. Even though I wish others would've Qed, I'm happy for Belgium being back the Final. Israel: Another shocker really, i had her in my personal Qers but I was convinced it wasn't Qing but here she is. So happy for Eden and Eden solely... Romania: Ok...I prepared myself for this moment over the last few days, doesn't mean it hurts any less . I'm so sad for her & the fact that the HoD threw her under the bus...EXCUSE ME??? You chose her!!! you chose that staging for her and even though it's a good staging as a concept it clearly wasn't for Roxen's performance skills yet y'all decided to mot change nor modify it at all, even with the harsh criticism that ROXEN HAD TO DEAL WITH because you also didn't stand up for her when she most neeeded y'all, I'm so mad 'cause of that. Anyways, I feel very sad and proud of Roxen I know she really tried her best, and I thank her for delivering a such a good message & song(s) Good luck to her on everything she does from this point forward Azerbaijan: This was really good, she really sold the sh*t out od it. I was doubtful about her qualification but after this peroformances it was clear to me. Ukraine: A FREAKING COLLAPSEE!!! There's a reason why they have that 100% qualification rate and it shows. Never doubted them a single time  Malta: This is easily the best performance of the night like by MILES. I'm sorry but come awn now...I was shocked the entire time. She is DEFINITELY on the run to win Really excited for the 2nd semifinal |

After seeing how Roxen got treated, I'm afraid  Samanta Tīna will experience something similar, if she doesn't qualify... maybe not from television and Eurovision people, but definitely from people who made and signed the petition to cancel her participation in ESC this year... they didn't succeed with the petition, but they will definitely be heard if she fails to qualify, which now seems very likely to happen... |

First of all,  Rotterdam really give us such amazing works and organized shows despite the pandemic situation. Like what, I was sh00k for the entire show. The augmented reality elements weee also absolutely well-made. Those interval acts were also amazing af too (especially Davina’s)! The way this year is gonna be remarked as one of the most legendary years ever. We love to see it. <3333
Now onto the results,
ummm I really like this song a lot, feel touched by the story behind this song and also lost my tears when he took his glasses off but um no for this semi. Really glad for him but that means we have to get those Efendix / Tixfendi contents again? Ugh. However, this was easily Qing anywayz so
flagethiopi- Her whistle notes were perfectly killed and the performance was really great. I was ready to see her NQed cuz of the political situation but I’m so happy to see her overcome the hate!

She really improved from the rehearsals a lot but the stage presence is literally limited to zero and lowkey boring for me (I know it’s ironic coming from a ballad stan but that’s it). Anyways, I’m kinda ok (?) with this Qing I guess. Wouldn’t be sad to switch this with someone else tho,

The best staging so far but Lesley’s vocal was weaker than in rehearsals so that was kind of expected. Really sad as I love “Maps” so much
expected. But I was really surprised by his performance so much. It was actually great for me.

The way I couldn’t sleep well last night and was crying at 4AM because of this NQing When I saw the leaked performance, I thought she would qualify as her vocal was really great at that time but sadly, tonight was not strong enough... Even though I love the performance so much, it was undeniably a most likely NQ. Thank you ROXEN for such an amazing song with such messages I will keep streaming Amnesia and also look forward for your future works for sure!
