 Brazzaville Congolese entry revealed! Kongó-Brazzaville-yémba ayebisaki! Who will be the artist to showcase the nation in our triumphant return? The first ever winner of the Resolute Song Festival,  Congo (Brazzaville), have decided to make our triumphant return to the contest. Three editions away from the contest made the Congolese public realise how important the contest was to helping to promote their music to the rest of the world. Following  Shereza's victory in  Los Angeles,  Gaitana represented the African nation on home soil in the capital, Brazzaville, where she placed 18th out of 28. Spirita Nanda followed the pair in  Nice, where she unfortunately failed to qualify, placing 14th in the semifinal. Liza Monet went to  Harare, where she unfortunately placed last in the semifinal at 19th place. As soon as it was announced that the previous host of delegation would resume their duties for the nation, one song was an absolute serve that we just had to take for ourselves. So, who will be the lucky artist to fly the (Brazzaville) Congolese flag in  Antwerp?   Spirita Nanda!
Born in Brazzaville on 27 May, 1985, Spirita Nanda is a Brazzaville Congolese soul & afropop singer. She was raised in the city, and has been based in the city since she graduated from the University of Buea in  Buea, Fako, Cameroon. No stranger to the competition, she participated in RSF4, where she brought her bilingual whopper, "Kitoko" to Nice. Unfortunately, she failed to qualify to the final, placing fourteenth in the semi.
She won't be alone in Antwerp. She has enlisted the help of two other Congolese entertainers. Together, the trio all represents one of the three largest cities in the nation. Zeus Million is a producer from Dolisie, who is currently based in Pointe-Noire, where he is the head beatmaker of Belle Rage Music. In addition to him, Adriana Talansi, better known mononymously by her surname Talansi, is a fashion designer from Pointe-Noire, who is credited in the song itself for her stylings in the music video. Talansi has been at this for a while, mentioning that she first knew she wanted to be a designer at the age of 9. She says that her ultimate goal is to "change the vision of people who are used to traditional cuts and make them discover African Haute Couture".

After confirming Participation yesterday, YLE is happy to announce that our Artist & Song for the Resolute Song Festival has been internally Selected! The broadcaster received several applications from artists, but after a long internal selection process, one has been successful:
Taru Tammikallio
Representing  Finland in the Resolute Song Festival #08
Taru Tammikallio is a Finnish Author, Media Entrepreneur & Singer. She is most known for her work surrounding professions and aspirations in Finland, but has recently started making music. She began writing Poems in Elementary School, but opted to go to High School and train to become an Entrepreneur. She also has a Podcast and Photography portfolio.
"En Mahdu Sun Laatikkoon"
The entry that Taru Tammikallio will sing, repserening Finland!
"En Mahdu Sun Laatikoon" meaning "I Can't Fit in the Sun Box" is an up-tempo, fun representation of music. The lyrics talk about life being too serious and pokes humour towards every-day life. The song has been Internally Selected to represent Finland in  Belgium for the upcoming Resolute Song Festival!
