TVE broadcast wants to break with previous stereotypes and chooses ZAHARA and her song " Merichane "as representative of the country for the next edition of RESOLUTE SONG CONTEST #08 !!!
ZAHARA will attend the contest after convincing the entire Spanish delegation with a controversial issue and with a very current meaning !!!
Zahara has surprised us all with his latest release. The song that he has just published under the name "Merichane" has not left anyone indifferent, and the lyrics are no wonder. Pay attention  !!!
The artist who has us used to direct messages and nothing subliminal, dares with a very deep letter in which she confesses, among other things, disorders, harassment and bad practices of a part of the music industry. ZAHARA with this song in addition to denouncing a situation that she has suffered in the first person, and that has undoubtedly taken her to the limit, she seems to be unburdening herself and releasing all that ballast that has carried so long inside her.
The autobiographical story that ZAHARA tells in her song is a story of bullying, abuse, anxiety and sexist violence within the music industry. But what does the word Merichane mean?
