 FRANCE This is the second song from the album Bretonne (releassed in 2010) that I'm sending. The first one was a long time ago... in FoIM... Nolwenn Leroy is singing in Breton, the language from her region. The song was created during the nineteenth century and became widely known after Alain Stivell recorded it in 1971 then when the rap band Manau used the melody in their song La Tribu de Dana - so this song won't be used in the contest. I'll put videos of them below. Nolwenn Leroy made her own version in 2010 (too late unfortunately to be eligible to editions #80 and #90).
Timeslot: 1:41Eluveitie has used the melody of this song in their single Inis Mona. Used to listen to Tri Martolod a lot in my teenage years, glad you've sent it. |
