Earlier today, the Decorian broadcaster officially confirmed that Decoria will take part in the forthcoming 25th edition set to take place in Shkeera. Following the respectable 15th place achieved by Soccer Mommy in the final of the 24th edition, the broadcaster is currently in works for selecting their next entrant. | Dýrcorifestivalen or internal selection? |
Despite already confirming their participation, the broadcaster has not revealed whether Dýrcorifestivalen would be making its return this edition. The event last took place for the 23rd edition, when Kid Bloom was selected to represent the country. The possibility of Dekorifestivalen making its return was also brought up in the discussions according to the Head of Delegation. However, a final decision on the selection process will be made in the coming days. Even though the selection process has not been confirmed as of yet, there have been rumors circulating the next Decorian entrant. Rumors speculate that the Decorian broadcaster is seeking to enlist a returning artist for the upcoming edition; the rumored list includes Fantasia Contest winner Weyes Blood, Grace Carter and most recent Decorian entrant Soccer Mommy. "We are currently in works to make sure we select the best possible entry for the next edition. Hopefully, we will finalize our selection process soon enough. It is possible that we will opt for an internal selection but it's not unlikely that Dýrcorifestivalen or even Dekorifestivalen make their return." FYOR CONFIRMS PARTICIPATION Fyor will participate in the 25th edition of the Fantasia Contest. Despite another 3rd consecutive non qualification the country is enjoying showcasing its music to Fantasia and there are no signs of withdrawing despite the bad results achieved so far. The selection method will be internal, it is rumoured the entry may be in Fyoric instead of Everish for the first time but this has not been confirmed. The internal selection process is expected to start in the coming days with the entry to be revealed in a few weeks time. Stay tuned!

 ZYLOFONIJA CONFIRMS!
This Saturday evening, Zylo national broadcaster ZINU announced their participation in the 25th edition of the Fantasia Contest in  Shkeera. The delegation also praised KAYTRANADA and Tinashe for an honorable 6th place in  Taslana.
As usual, the entry will be chosen via our national selection Zylomelodija. The broadcaster received 696 submissions, but only 12 acts will perform at the Isiko Arena for a golden ticket to the Fantasia Contest. Get to know the participants below!

We are obviously very disappointed about   U.S. Girls getting our worst result but we won't give up. Furthermore, we have never been this prepared - we will use a national selection to pick our entry to represent us in Shkeera. Last time we used a national selection was way back in edition 19 where we had to cancel it due to lack of votes. With sincere hopes it won't happen this time and ever again we are ready to present...
Sinkreska will consist of 2 semi final with 10 songs each. From each semi final 5 songs will qualify to make a final of 10. Voting will be done by poll and both semis will take place at the same time.
Out of thousands of submission we selected 20 best songs to make the selection as diverse as possible - from aggressive experimental rock to magical, soothing ambient, from beautiful indie to depressive slowcore and so on.

THE NIOL ENTRY REVEAL Getting in early once again, this edition Niolskiaj is the first country to reveal their entry for the Fantasia Contest, following a brief internal selection period to decide who and what will fly the Niol flag in Shkeera for edition 25. Set to be the 15th representative of  Niolskiaj in FC is Sarah Kinsley, a 21 year-old singer, songwriter and producer, born in Niezhkom and now based in the capital Drukana.
Kinsley is a classically-trained pianist and grew up playing in youth orchestras, making a name for herself for her intense style, with teachers and friends joking that she was always "way too emotional" when playing music. She began to venture away from classical music as a teenager, and started to publish covers online. She says that her confidence came from sharing music with people online, a "weird process of validation".
She is currently working on an undergraduate degree, even submitting some of her already-released music for an assignment, but this has shed light on a long-standing problem within the music industry. She frequently references a 2018 report that stated approximately 2% of producers identify as female - an alarming statistic that she wants to challenge through her own artistry. “Of course, no one is saying to my face that women like me don’t produce music, but it’s about the very subtle things that build up over time,” she says.
Kinsley is not an entirely new name to Niol music fans, with the singer gaining a somewhat large fanbase on TikTok, currently having 387k followers and 6.9m likes on her videos in which she shares her music. Her first two singles of 2021, "Karma" and "Over + Under", have both already charted in Niolskiaj - with "Karma" reaching the top 10, and her EP, The King, was released on 4th June to rave reviews, and her Fantasia entry is the title track.
The song is about embracing youthful uncertainty, capturing "everything about what it means to turn 20" and drawing on the exact moment where fear turns to clarity. "That swift change from childhood, where you're allowed to be slightly ignorant and unaware of the world before then moving on to a new decade is overwhelming," Kinsley said in an exclusive interview, "It's like, 'What happens now? Where do I go next?'".
"But I don't know why our society has created this odd fear of growing up," she continues, "The focus should instead be on this resurgence of energy that you get from entering a new decade. I want to take all of my anxiety and awareness of the fact I'm getting older, and let it help me bloom."
"To represent my home country at the Fantasia Contest has always been a massive dream for me," Kinsley concludes, "For so long it's brought so much excitement to the whole country, and actually the world, so to be up on that stage is a dream come true, I can't wait for the experience."

Kinsley will be the artist hoping to bring Niolskiaj back to the grand final and to former glory. After a strong start in the contest, winning twice in their first seven participations, Niolskiaj has now only made the final once in the last five editions, with Holly Humberstone's "Falling Asleep at the Wheel", which finished in 10th place in edition 22. Last edition, Tamzene achieved the worst ever Niol result, 12th place in the semi-final.

After another qualification last edition, the Torlovan delegation is more than happy to confirm their presence in the upcoming edition in Shk*era.
The broadcaster is currently holding internal selections to find out our artist in the competition, and a national selection has not been ruled out yet.
