 UNITED STATES It's time to reveal the result of our national selection! We received 4 sets of votes from    and from Rest of the World (Kenajabam)!
But first of all, there is a twist in this selection since the three entries from artists under 18 years old were also competing for representing USA to a junior contest (Junior OSC) and of course the five songs (the three junior ones plus the two from artists between 18 and 21) were in competion for SSC #2 at the same time. We explain it how in the spoiler below...
Now, let's see what song was the best junior entry (under 18)...
Grace received a massive total of 14 points (the maximum possible was 20):  from and  from and RoTW!
Here are the two options:
- if Grace received the best score among the five songs, she will represent USA to SSC #2 (and the second best junior song will go to JOSC #28, because we won't send the same entry in both contests).
- if one of the two remaining songs had a better score, Grace will go to JOSC #28.
Was it enough to get the first place overall? The American entry at Select Song Contest #2 will be...Timeslot: 1:28Concrete Castles almost did a perfect score with 18 points: from and RoTW and from !
The three other songs also received points:  from and RoTW to Dylan Conrique, from to Leyla Blue and from to Jessie Murph. Thank you to the voters of our selection! |
