TONGA CONFIRMS!!
Nuku'alofa - After a second consecutive qualification to the final, the tiny Polynesian nation confirms its participation for the upcoming contest in Tajikistan! AFTRHR's performance in Fiji was rewarded with a respectable 20th place, and while some Tongans were expecting a higher result, many were overall happy with the placement.
However, the search has now begun for a new artist to represent Tonga in the contest, and to hopefully take the country higher up the scoreboard...
More news to follow about song and artist soon...

NEW CALEDONIA ANNOUNCES PARTICIPATION AND ARTIST!Nouméa, 05 Octobre - After fake Caledonian Mickaël Pouvin announced to the world following the 27th edition that he was gaslight into representing the islands twice, even with a second qualification aquired for the nation, even more Caledonians than last time were calling for a withdraw. Unfortunately for many, CanalSat Calédonie and Head of Delegation Miho Aogawa, confirmed the Caledonian participation in the twenty-eighth edition of Own Asiavision Song Contest which will be held in most likely Dushanbe.
An artist has been selected to wave the flag of New Caledonia in Tajikistan, and we are ready to introduce them to everyone.
Chloë BlackBorn in Sydney, Australia to a mother who was born and raised in Nouméa and an Aussie father and spent time growing up in Paris, Chloë Black is a singer and songwriter. She has been on the CanalSat radar for a while, and now has been tapped to represent the island. Musique de Nouvelle-Calédonie à will be revived for this edition to determine Chloë's song. We will unveil the nf shortly.
~ NEW CALEDONIA IN OWN ASIAVISION SONG CONTEST ~
The Special Collectivity of New Caledonia debuted in the twenty-first edition of the Own Asiavision Song Contest held in Sana'a with Caledonian Marcus Gad and the Parisian Tamal, finishing last in the semifinal with 34 points. In the edition following, the broadcaster held the first ever edition of Musique de Nouvelle-Calédonie à, which was won by Linda Terii with Tamahine O Te Moana. Linda finished 14th in the semifinal with 54 points. A second edition of Musique de Nouvelle-Calédonie à was held for the 23rd edition. The national final was won by Patricia Ségui and her song Le Voleur. Patricia brought the island nation so close to the final, finishing 11th in the semi with 54 points, missing out on the final by a single point. The final was finally achieved by Mickaël Pouvin in Daegu the next edition, where he stunned the nation by going from the last nation to make the final, only finishing ahead of Sheppard and their song Die Young by 2 points, to an automatic qualifier, finishing 5th, ensuring Tim Sameke's performance in the final in the 25th edition, where he finished dead last, only gaining a paltry 11 points. Musique de Nouvelle-Calédonie à was put on hold again for the 26th edition, as CanalSat Calédonie revealed that Sandy Factory would represent the nation with her song Dis moi, where she sadly placed 19th in the semi with a meger amount of 19 points, netting the special collectivity a spot in the pre-qualification round in Nadi, which was eventually cancelled due to a lack of participants. Mickaël Pouvin was tapped to represent the nation once again following this notice, where he once again was 10th in the semi, but wasn't able to recreate the success of his previous attempt, placing 22nd. Musique de Nouvelle-Calédonie à was revived in the 28th edition, with Aussie-Caledonian Chloë Black being tapped as the Caledonian representitive.

THE PHILIPPINES Quezon City. After achieving a second place in the last edition of the Own Asiavision Song Contest in Nadi, Fiji, PTV is very pleased with the result and has decided to continue working with the new Head of Delegation, who took over last edition. Since the country is automatically qualified for the final, the Philippines confirm their participation in the Own Asiavision Song Contest 28 in Tajikistan, of course. However, there is major dissent among the delegation about the decision, which artist should get the opportunity to present their song in the next edition's final.
