Cape Verde is going to crook the weather !
Radiotelevisão Caboverdiana presents you the 9th capeverdean entry. Let's welcome... Branko ft. EU.CLIDES "Tempo Torto"TS: 1:57+
~ CAPE VERDE IN OWN AFRICAVISION SONG CONTEST ~Cape Verde debuted in the OAfSC1, in their debut they got robbed with the song "Loco" by the talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique Jennifer Dias ft. Elji Beatzkilla, placing 13th in the Grand Final. In the second edition we said YES to male singers and sent Djodje with "Atrevido", getting robbed again placing 17th in the Final. The robberies streak finished in the 3rd edition thanks to Lisandro Cuxi, who's song "Dançar" managed to achieve the 4th place in the contest, giving it's first AQ spot to Cape Verde and so far the best placement of the archipielago.
The Grand Final place was obtained by Yasmine, who won the first edition of Festival do Praia with "Quem é?", placing in a respectable 19th position. Jennifer Dias finally got her revenge in the 5th edition, achieving the 5th place alongside Sureno Beatzz & Supa Squad with the song "Boom". Mongolian-Capeverdean singer Naam managed to win the second edition of Festival Do Praia by a huge margin with "Gun Tsenher", automatically classified to the final she was the first Asian to represent the African country; she finished 7th in the final, missing the Top 6 and an AQ streak by just one place. Cape Verde failed to qualify for the first time in the seventh edition with Mónica Sintra who finished 13th in the semifinal.

~ TEROUZ | BIG BOY GAMES ~
2.58 ~ 3.23
"After first making a mark as the frontman of folk-rock group, The Rising Few,
Cairo-born Canadian artist, Kerim Terouz, has continued what has been a rather fascinating metamorphosis
into a noir-kissed synthwave solo act. In 2020, he unleashed ‘Burn’ a track that fused 80s synths stylings
and sweeping, operatic vocals - for his latest release, however, he plunges further into darkness.
'Big Boy Games' is, in Terouz’s words, about “massive ego wars,” and manifests as a reimagination of “epic tales of vengeance and betrayal,” - and he even makes a reference to to one of cinema’s most iconic betrayals,
committed by Fredo Corleone against Michael in The Godfather: Part II."

ARE YOU READY FOR THE RAGGA?! Carnot, 13 November 2021 - After Central African legend K-Dy managed to surprisingly achieve yet another final for our country, thus starting a qualification streak, RTC has decided that they will do their best to keep the streak of positive results going for as long as possible. Last edition, in Seychelles, K-Dy became the first Central African act to qualify to the final if we exclude Tenny's successful attempts, and this is something the country was so proud of that, rumor has it, they even suspended the fighting against the various factions to celebrate together. This time, we're pulling something special to finish off this successful 2021. Your favorite Bangui-based DJ Boddhi Satva, this time accompained by Preto Show, Stonebwoy and Central African empress herself Tenny are returning to serve their latest hit: Ragga Ragga.
