TIME TO LOSE OUR MINDS IN RYUJIN REPUBLIC

IT'S MYRA GRANBERG FOR KINGDOVANIA

Myra Granberg is a Kingdovanian singer-songwriter, who briefly started her music career in the middle of the 2010s.
She released her first single in 2015, before taking a minor break, only to return with music from 2019 onwards.

Her songs was then picked up by the radio stations, and she quickly gathered fame with the Kingdovanian people.
A couple of her songs have landed in the Kingdovanian charts, including "Tills mitt hjärta går under" and "HKF (Håll käften och försvinn)".

While she already released an EP back in 2020, her first album, "Andra sidan är ni klara", came out in 2021,
and has gathered a positive response from the public.

She has now kindly accepted the invitation to represent her home nation in the Fantasia Contest to potentially widen her audience,
and she'll be participating with one of the currently on-growing hits in Kingdovania, namely...

TO REPRESENT FORDIA IN RUYJIN REPUBLIC!

2021-11-07, Krono: FBC has revealed that Alina Pash and Apashe will represent

Fordia at the 26th Fantasia Contest in

Ruyjin Republic. They'll compete with their composition "Witch".

Hailing from

Drevona, Apashe met

Turlandish artist Alina Pash. Together they composed "Witch" which is partly in Everish and Ukrayianese. "We're glad to compete with this unique composition of electronic music and traditional Turlandish sounds."

Apashe is no stranger to the Fantasia Contest. In the 20th edition he represented his home nation and placed 17th in the Grand Final.

It's TELENOVA!

Although Telenova only made their debut with their first single earlier this year, the group's three members have been heavyweights in

Estambla's live music space for a decade now. Consisting of multi-disciplinary local favourite Angeline Armstrong, Slum Sociable's Edward Quinn and Miami Horror's Joshua Moriarty, the trio bring together a lifetime of musical experience condensed into genre-combining brilliance, where their overlapping worlds come together to create striking moments of hazy alt-electronic-R&B-esque versatility.

In an exclusive interview with TVT, they described their music as the following:

"We’ve been describing it to anyone who asks us (and some people who didn’t..) as 60’s trip-hop. I think the 60’s side of it is in the chords we choose to use and a bunch of the instrumentation and classic songwriting nature of it, the trip-hop side is the beats our special boy Edward Quinn aka Dr. Dope brings to the studio party. Theme wise lyrically we just try to grab onto anything that titillates and take it as far poetically as we can. I’m a little on the darker side I guess so I always try push things into the macabre where Ange is a little lighter and I think that balance works."

Brought together by Death Cab For Cutie guitarist Chris Walla at a songwriting camp in 2020, Bones brought an introductory taste as to what to expect from Telenova. It drew early comparisons to Portishead and Massive Attack, with a slow-burning trip-hop sound moulding around the vocals of Angeline, who gave the single a more pop-like touch. Then, there was the further complexities added by Edward and Josh's instrumentation, which takes the song into a more indie-leaning world; the final song feeling like a mix of tastes and flavours spanning decades of musicianship.

"It reminded me of this feeling I’ve had of being so trapped inside my own head, my own skin and bones," said Angeline Armstrong on the single, which arrives as an early release from the newly-founded Pointer Recordings. "We started to envision this elaborate narrative of melancholia and longing, a girl trapped in her own bones… her own disillusionment."

Demacia in the upcoming edition of the Fantasia Contest, to be held in

Ruyjin Republic following POC legend Agnes's astonishing victory in

Shakira.

Formed in 2010, RÜFÜS DU SOL (initially just RÜFÜS), features the talents of guitarist Tyrone Lindqvist, keyboardist Jon George, and drummer James Hunt. The trio quickly released two EPs, 2011's RÜFÜS and 2012's Blue. In 2013, they delivered their debut full-length, Atlas, on Sony. The album topped the Demacian charts and was quickly followed by the Desert Night EP.

In 2016, the trio issued their sophomore full-length album, Bloom, featuring the singles "You Were Right," "Like an Animal," and "Innerbloom." The effort topped the charts and was later certified gold. They returned in 2018 with a series of singles leading up to the release of the full-length Solace, which reached number two in Demacia. It was also offered in remixed form in 2019. Their fourth album, Surrender, arrived in October 2021 and featured charting singles "Alive" and "Next to Me".

They are obviously no strangers to the Fantasia scene, having already participated back in #14 in

Niolskiaj, where they placed 5th with "Lost In My Mind",
