perhaps it's just an issue of overexposure, but this song really fails to get me now.. it's done the rounds at this point. it's been all over the contests, my CLOTHING STORES (actually this song is a very zara type beat) as well as my taxi radios. i'm TIRED. like??? joy crookes is an objectively beautifully talented woman with so many good new releases... but i'm over it. now if this was SKIN we would be discussing blackpool 38, but skin you are not.

ok so hear me out. blake whitelastname is no luke hemmings, let me get that CLEAR first and foremost BUT.... this wasn't the worst thing to shake the boat??? sure the timeslot has this man yappin at you in his basic tweedle-pop type beat for most of it, but if you stick your way through the entirety of casanova, there's a couple of good segments of the song which really elevate it. it's such a shame it had to be packaged in this WHITE (derogatory) package.

7. France
I'm bored. The song isn't BAD outright, but I just... can't? The verses here have potential for ascendation, however.... please consider the chorus?? I understand she wants to give us the Shrek 2 Fairy Godmother Holding Out For A Hero type vibes, but unlike the fairy godmother, whenever Juliette Armanet flies, I come crashing down. im just so upset.
