Clamydia
Addison Rae: I really was torn about this at first, especially because Beyonce has made it known that she is a big fan of me, my music and especially my acting. But I have to be a professional and unbiased judge. I can see where you were coming from with this, it’s definitely a big, powerful moment and Beyonce is undeniably an incredible vocalist. But I am very very doubtful as to whether this actually qualifies as a live performance. This whole thing looks more like a music video featuring footage of a live performance to me, I’m not convinced it’s a live vocal and that accompanied by the fact that you chose one of the biggest singers on this planet spells trouble for you this week. I GET it, and I don’t think Beyonce herself was necessarily a bad choice for this, but this particular performance was.
Kenya E. Tpusi: I'm not upset at this choice, cause I know exactly what you were going for. Sadly, this missed the mark on a challenge that was honestly one of the easiest of the week. Firstly, these vocals are pre-recorded, not live. Secondly, Queen B. Really? Thirdly, live performances are an artform of which there are so many great options to choose from. I'm not upset, just incredibly disapointed.
Olivia Jones: First of all, Beyoncé? Quite an unoriginal choice for such a wide open category, but I would've accepted it if the performance was actually live. I'm 90% sure that it was pre-recorded. When I think of a live performance, I want to see a singer serving live vocals and passion in front of an audience, maybe as part of a concert or a TV show. This performance definitely served vocals and passion, but as I said, the vocals were most likely pre-recorded and performing at the UN is lovely but doesn't exactly give you a very engaged live audience. All in all, this just missed the mark.

Whorealicious
Kenya E. Tpusi: Let's start with the positives: It's cute, I don't mind it. In fact, it's pretty okay by 1950s standards. Okay positive notes done. Lemme speak my mind. Girl what the hell were you thinking with this choice? Firstly, a Eurovision song outside of Eurovision Fest is not it. But a winner?? No ma'am. No ma'am. Additionally, you had in all honesty the easiest challenge this week. You have centuries of songs to find something good and this is what you pulled out? I don't know whether to be pissed off at this clear lack of creativity and effort, or to be impressed by the gall you have to send this. You also complaining about your challenge in the gay bar doesn't help your cause. I should demand a refund for wasting my time with this. You've been given a chance to showcase your Creativity, Uniqueness, Nerve, and Talent, and all I'm getting is the nerve of this bitch. Do better. I know you have that ability
Olivia Jones: Ma'am... Frankly, I wanted to give you a zero. But that's not possible, so I gave you a one. A Eurovision song? Not only that, a Eurovision winner?? I get that you weren't alive in 1950 but that's no excuse to resort to this level of unoriginality. And it's not even a good song??? If you check my 1959 ranking, you'll see that I ranked this song pre-last, so this entry was a terrible choice on more than one level. If you stay in this competition, I don't want to be exposed to something like this ever again.
Addison Rae: I have to be honest I don’t really care as much as my fellow esteemed judges seem to about the fact that this is a Eurovision winner. I didn’t know this was a Eurovision winner before you sent it this week, in fact I’m still not sure I know what Eurovision is. This was so educational! I would advise that if you remain in the competition you don’t send another Eurovision winner though because there are other songs out there! Other slays etc. That said I really enjoyed this song and felt like it captured a special essence of music from the 1950s which was actually when I was first experimenting and dabbling in the classical genre. A timeless piece of art that I very much enjoyed thank you. ❤️

Azora Rivers
Olivia Jones: Not sure this was the best entry of the playlist but it was pretty good, which is already a big accomplishment in this rather weak week. But I think you could've done a bit better, considering that you had an advantage with this challenge, by having access to a judge's top 20 songs. You still did well of course, I'm just not entirely floored.
Addison Rae: When this first started I thought I was going to be slain, like, 10/10 week 1 vibes. Inject these Imogen Heap beats into my ears I love gorgeous ambient atmospheric yass ❤️ and then it picked up a little and it kinda lost me. Like… it now wasn’t quiet and atmospheric enough to stay gorgeous but I also felt like it hadn’t picked up enough for me to love it in a gorgeous wall of noise kind of way. With all that being said, I still liked this! It’s pretty and benefitted from repeated listens. A song to sway and cry and rock back and forth in dark to, it will be going onto my playlist for sure.
Kenya E. Tpusi: In all honesty, you had a challenge where there were no bad options in my eyes. And you most definitly sent a great song. However, I would've prefered to see one that is not my most listened to song of 2021 by a W I D E margin. I wish you sent a song more of the likes of "Penny Sweets", but good job regardless. This was a safe choice, and in an underwhelming week like this one, it gets you a better placement than safe.

Bitta Pill
Addison Rae: I know this wasn’t necessarily the most original choice of the week, but in my opinion if you take into account the quality of the song and its suitability for the theme, you definitely did the best this week. This was a brilliant start to the season for you, the song itself is one of my most played songs of all time - it’s just so powerful and poignant and the connection is super solid. It’s not a particularly creative choice, but nonetheless I think this was a fantastic start to your run and I’m sure that if you keep this up you’re going to be a force to be reckoned with. Well done bestie!
Kenya E. Tpusi: Assignment, understood. Song, good. Message, there. Hotel, Trivago. I really can't say anything bad about this because you understood the assignment to a t, but I just wish the choice was a tad bit more outside the box. I hope that you'll be able to deliver on that wish in the upcoming weeks.
Olivia Jones: This week you were one of the few who understood the assignment and had a decent song as well. The lyrics of your song obviously fit your challenge, so well done for that. The song itself doesn't have me shook, but hey, it's still good. However, I do want to point out that I'm not a fan of entries from big contests (mainly NVSC and FC) being sent in this competition. I'm going to give you a pass this time, since I assume that you weren't aware that your entry was sent to FC before, but for the future I recommend that you check whether your entry was sent to a big forum contest before.

Nobelle Peace-Prize
Olivia Jones: Now I'm not a music genre expert but there's no way this is industrial music. If I may quote Miss Wikipedia, industrial music is the "most abrasive and aggressive fusion of rock and electronic music". Where is the abrasiveness? Where is the aggression? I'm not even sure this would qualify as rock? And if it does, then soft rock at most. The band might have released industrial songs over the time, but that doesn't mean every song of theirs can be classified as industrial. On top of that, the song is a snooze. If it had been a good song, I could've given you a bonus point or two, despite missing the theme, but a non-industrial song that's also boring? A choice, I fear.
Addison Rae: When I heard you were doing industrial this week, as a pioneer and diehard fan of the genre I was so excited to see what you would deliver. But girlie I think you got the orders mixed up because this was not delivering what I ordered. Industrial music is supposed to be abrasive and aggressive with elements of rock and electronic music. It’s supposed to be giving oontz oontz stomp stomp crash bang but this song didn’t provide a single oontz. Rather this was just really relaxing? The song itself is alright, nothing I’d go out of my way to listen to again, but alright, it just doesn’t fulfil the criteria of this theme at all for me.
Kenya E. Tpusi: First of all, where's the industry? Cotton candy making isn't industrial. Where's the abrasion. Where's the rock? Where's the electronics? Where's the good shit I need from it? This is the style of music I respond best to, but when you are assigned a style of music that is supposed to be abrasive; get out the sandpaper, get out the buzz saws, get out something that makes this sound like there is somehting here to latch onto. I don't even know where you were going with this, but it sure as hell ain't gonna be the top of this competition at this rate.
