ALUNA FRANCIS
Aluna Francis was born in  Wales to a  Jamaican father and Tanzanian-born  Indian mother in 1988. Her name means "come here" in Mwera, one of Tanzania's Bantu languages. She was most famous for being a member in the electronic duo AlunaGeorge alongside  George Reid since 2012. They were known for their songs "White Noise" (with Disclosure), "Attracting Flies", "You Know You Like It" (with   DJ Snake), "Baggage" (with Gorgon City and   Griffin). She is not new to the Own Contest universe, after representing  Belize in her old duo with their song "I'm in Control" alongside Popcaan. She has created three albums, two as AlunaGeorge, Body Music in 2013 and I Remember in 2016 and one solo album named Renaissance released in 2020. Due to Abigail Chams' success last edition, she will perform in the grand final of the twelfth edition of Own Africavision Song Contest with her song ...
