Some details about the ninth edition of the Fortuna Music Contest have been revealed in a press-conference today.
Ho Chi Minh City, formerly (and still commonly) known as , is the largest city in Vietnam, situated in the southeastern region. The city surrounds the Saigon River and covers about 2,061 km². The city was the capital of South Vietnam until the end of the Vietnam War. In 1976, the government of reunified Vietnam renamed Saigon in honor of Hồ Chí Minh, who was Chairman and founder of the Workers' Party of Vietnam.
The primary economic center of Vietnam, it is also an emerging international destination, with popular landmarks related to remnants of its history showcased through its architecture. In 2011, Ho Chi Minh City accounted for 21.3% of total product (GDP) and 29.38% of total budget revenue of the whole of Vietnam. A major transportation hub, the city hosts the Tan Son Nhat International Airport, the busiest airport in Vietnam. The city is also undergoing construction of educational institutions and transportation, and also serves as a major media and entertainment outlet.
The Phú Thọ Indoor Stadium is a multi-purpose indoor arena, located in District 11, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, within walking distance from the 1932-built Phú Thọ Horse Racing Ground. The stadium was constructed for 2003 Southeast Asian Games. Although not officially recognized, the stadium is usually home to Vietnam national futsal team. It has a capacity of 5,000 people for sporting events and a full-house capacity of around 8,000.
Nguyễn Huỳnh Kim Duyên, born 19 October 1995, is a Vietnamese model. She was the 1st Runner-up of Miss Universe Vietnam 2019 and later was appointed to become Miss Universe Vietnam 2021 to compete at the Miss Universe 2021, where she finished at Top 16. In 22 February 2022, she was appointed to represent Vietnam at Miss Supranational 2022. During the coronation night, she finished as the 2nd Runner-up. This is the highest achievement for Vietnam at Miss Supranational, breaking the record of Daniella Thu Mây at Miss Supranational 2011, who placed 3rd Runner-up.
