DR CONGO I left half of my sanity in that research... I tried to find something from the local industry but it was a butchery, way too far from my musical tastes. I did find some songs that I liked but they eventually turned out to be from litteraly everywhere from Sub-Saharan Africa not DR Congo (including of course a bunch of songs from the "wrong" Congo). The only survivor was this... Everything seemed OK, but after a research on the singer featured in the song - Nyanda - I found out that the song was more than 8 years old, so RIP. The research among the diaspora was not easier since many of my choices were ruled out by the "2 parents rule". So exit half Congolese artists: Vhelade, Ocevne and also RIP this... But you know what? This is only after all these researches that I remembered I had this in my warehouse from the beginning. So... Madame Monsieur ft. Youssoupha - Tournera Timeslot: 2:43 I hope you still have enough sanity left, because I have to reject the entry. Only one third of the artists fulfill the requirements to represent DR Congo. It is said in the rules that half of the vocalists must be from the country and there are only two...

I'd agree with you, if the rules said 50% of the vocalists, but it says that all vocalists or 50% of the artists have to fulfill a requirement.

I'd agree with you, if the rules said 50% of the vocalists, but it says that all vocalists or 50% of the artists have to fulfill a requirement.I think you should rewrite the rule since it was not clear in my mind. Firstly a group is not the same thing as a collaboration, so I had to figure out if Madame Monsieur was counted as one "member" as a whole or two individuals. Secondly in the current version it is not clear if the "or" is between "half of the members" and "all vocalists" or between "the members" and "all vocalists". This would be more clear:
Well, I guess I have to switch to my only backup song. I'm not really satisfied by it and in normal circumstances I would search more but after dozens of artists I'm not expecting a Periishtish miracle anymore. And at least there will be no issue about the eligibility since Epoque's parents both emigrated from RD Congo in the 1980s and Davinhor was born in RD Congo. Sorry for the spelling mistakes in the music video.

Thank you, this is probably better and more clear. I will just edit this into the rules.
