Caribbean Netherlands will not participate in the upcoming edition of the Own Americavision Song Contest, citing the lack of potential entries and the possibility of the country participating in the quarter-final. However, the decision might change if the quarter-final does not occur. The broadcaster will still broadcast the shows nevertheless.

🇲🇸 Montserrat withdraws for one season 🇲🇸 Montserrat não irá participar dessa próxima temporada.

The (probably) last straw for Guyana's participation under this delegation.Georgetown ☆ 21st February 2023It is known that Guyana used to be among the countries that never missed the final. However, things were totally changed since the twelfth edition. The country has not been qualifying for four editions in a row, and even risked being in the quarter-final twice. The fact that Guyana, from being the best, become the worst of the Guianas is also widely criticized as well. This incredibly questioned and fumed all the Guyanese audience, and lead into the massive protest against the delegation, the broadcaster and the contest itself. Opinions in the public is not really ambivalent, but rather spontaneous. There are huge demands from the audience ranging from stop participating, completely change the team, to even terminate Guyana's OABA membership. The head of Guyanese delegation, Kinoshitash Akiraj has stated that terminating OABA membership is not an option. Guyana still has to be in the union for the general broadcast's sake. The other two choices, though, is possible in the future - especially the withdrawal as the results is so Thaiphobic last edition. (no it's true it's true.) The funder Fiona Singh herself released a statement on her social media platforms to express her understanding on both the public and the delegation side.
Fiona mentioned that the team is now focusing on promoting Guyana's musical artists rather than taking the country's participation in a competitive way as in the past. Therefore, she suggested the delegation to use this opportunity to host a new program that can involve interested artists, or simply say, to host a national final.
Guyana Finale!
As there is still a possibility for either the team or the country to take a leave from the competition next time, it is decided that the show will be called "Guyana Finale". The exact number of participants is yet to be decided but ten to fourteen acts will be either selected or invited to join the show and compete for the ticket to Puerto Rico. Despite the acts still not being shortlisted yet, it is confirmed that the show will consist of both "typical" genres and local's jams such as soca and chutney musics. The show will be presented by Own Americavision's veteran Leona Lewis.
Stay tune for more information from Guyana.

Gasoline, kerosene Stop, Drop, Roll. St. Georges, 21 February 2023 Following another edition as an automatic qualifier to the grand final where placed 23rd, again, the Grenada Broadcasting Network can confirm that we will be present in Puerto Rico. The next Grenadian representative who will get a chance to fly with our flag to Puerto Rico has been found! The Grenadian head of delegation Miho Muise affirms that the song was officially verified by the GBN broadcasters and the Grenadian song has been confirmed. Now, it may be the time for us to introduce our next entrant. Estelle Fanta Swaray, known mononomously by her first name, Estelle, is a rapper, singer, songwriter, actress, and radio presenter born in West London to a Senegalese mother and Grenadian father. She got her career started as an employee in a record store, where she was encouraged to get on the mic. In 2007, she was signed to John Legend's label, and a year later, she was launched into stardom with a track off of her second album, "American Boy" that featured a rapper who's name we will not say anymore. That song also won her a Grammy for best rap/sung collaboration. She spent most of the 2010s featuring on tracks by other rappers. In 2013, she began to work in voice acting, as she voiced Garnet in Steven Universe. In 2020, she released her most recent single to date, and she will be performing that song in Puerto Rico. As mentioned earlier, Estelle will be representing us. The song she'll perform is a single released in 2020. The track was featured in the film Fatal Affair, and it is called "Set Me On Fire". This track is a slower, more theatrical ballad, a first for the present delegation of Grenada.

Grenadian History in OAmSC The spice island made our debut in the 1st edition of the Own Americavision Song Contest, with Grenadian songstress Laura Lisa's song "Awaken". Sadly, the Americas didn't awaken to the track, netting the nation a last overall finish in our debut edition. Next edition the nation qualified for the first time with Zhavea going to "Shut It Down", getting a 25th place. Following a non-qualification in E3, Ameena Caesar started a 3 edition qualification streak with "My Way Out", getting the best placement of a Grenadian under the first head of delegation. However, the other 2 in the streak didn't fare well, as both only managed to get 26th. The 3 editions after got progressively worse, with a 13th, 15th and 17th place in the semi respectively. In response, the GBN fired the head of delegation they've had since E1, and took edition 10 off. Going into the 11th edition, they hired the then Saint Lucian head of delegation, and instantly saw better results, with the nation getting an AQ (the nation's first lefthand side finish) with the new delegation's first entry, "I Could Be Yours" by Roses Gabor. Shygirl took the AQ banner in Montreal, where she placed 23rd in the final. Mr Killa followed Shygirl, where he couldn't infect enough of the Americas with "Macopolaritis", placing 14th in the semi. The role of representative was passed back to Shygirl, and this time, she brought Zebra Katz to Canada, with the song "LICK IT N SPLIT", where the duo brought a second AQ to the spice island, with a new record finish of 5th in the final, besting the record set by Roses Gabor, ironically also set in Canada, with the following act, an automatic qualifier, going to Jamaica. That act was Gaika, who brought along Mexican producer Omaar, with the pair finishing 23rd in the final. Estelle then wove the Grenadian flag in Puerto Rico, as she placed xxth with her song "Set Me On Fire".
