After a top 6 placement of Aimer,  Tokugawa Shogunate (徳川幕府) can confirm that we will be alongside the contest until it reach the terminal and that means we’ll be in this last edition ever as well. Back then in the seventh edition, we made a glorious debut with an opening song of YURI!!! on ICE called “History Maker”. The history were made indeed as we ended up being runner-up twice and achieved a lot of top 6 placements with weeb songs. Therefore, we will end our history that we made with the ending song of the same anime. Wataru Hatano (羽多野 渉) from Shinano Province (信濃国, nowadays Nagano Prefecture) will give out last shot at the contest with his song “You Only Live Once”! We say YES GAY YES VICTUURITimeslot 0:00+

 Umayyad reveals their final AVSC entry! Friday, 17 March • 16:59 Umayyad reveals their final entry for the AncientVision Song Contest! After participating for 8 editions, winning on two occasions with Ashley Zarah & GVLA and Dana Al Fardan, URTU (Umayyad Radio and Television Union), has chosen our last ever entry!
Extrazen and Lucy Val to represent Umayyad in the Tagalog Republic!
 Extrazen and Lucy Val, both of them upcoming singers from Portugal, have been selected by URTU to represent the country in the final edition of the AncientVision Song Contest. Despite rumours of national selection, broadcaster URTU decided to halt the plans and selected them internally to represent the country in the Tagalog Republic. Our head of Delegation stated that the broadcaster wanted to take a huge risk send something out of the box for this last edition.
They will represent the Umayyad Caliphate with their song "5MINUTES"!Released on June 16, 2022, "5MINUTES" is a blender of pop with some hip-hop elements performed in both English and Portuguese. It will mark the debut of the Portuguese language in the AncientVision Song Contest! We wish them the best of luck!

It might seen crazy, but this was one of my favourite songs of last year. And I'm taking the risk and I will close my participation in the AncientVision Song Contest with this song. This is Umayyad's swansong. Thank you so much for these amazing five editions I have been in. AVSC is definitely one of my favourite contests and I will never forget it.
