A seahorse is on the flag, as the island of Mayotte looks like an upside-down seahorse. Seahorses are seen as a symbol of renewal and rebirth in cultures across the world.
Pamandzi will be the host city of the edition. The city is located on the southern part of the island of the same name, which is the second-largest island in the nation. The city has a population of 11,442. The Stade de Pamandzi will host this edition. The stadium is primarily used for football matches in the Mahorais Premier League. The stadium has a capacity of 1500, but has the ability to hold more.
Zily is one of the hosts of this edition. The Mahorais singer is one of the biggest names in the Mahorais music scene, and won OAfSC in Mayotte's debut edition last edition. Anlia Charifa is the other host of this edition. A model by trade, the Pamandzi native was crowned Miss Mayotte in 2020, and was a finalist in the Miss France 2021 competition.
