Following an impressive 9th place finish in Dublin, the Hokkaidō Ainu Kyōkai has announced that they will be participating once again, this time much closer to home in  Vientiane. There's been a growing interest in Ainumosir of the contest, and we are proud to announce the next artist that will be representing Ainumosir
  RIWKAKANT (リウカカント)
Kainuma Takeshi is a Japanese composer and photographer. Born in Tokyo in 1962, he began to find success as a photographer. He began to write compositions for his exhibitions, and through this he met a singer that changed everything.
Toko Emi is an Ainu singer from Akan (now a part of Kunishiro). While not much is known about the her, she rose to fame alongside her sister Goukon Fukiko as the duo Kapiw & Apappo.
