Born in Jordan to Palestinian parents who fled from violence, Sereen Omran, known by her first name, is an Australia-based indie musician, most known for playing the guitar. She has been making music since she was about 9. However, she didn't start wearing the hijab until she was 15. Her experiences have shaped her as an artist, and have given birth to a wide variety of music, from synth pop to Arabic-influenced remixes of KPOP. She will be joined by her brother, Moe Omran, with the song "Honeybee".
