 Portugal confirms participation!Lisbon - June 26th, 2024 Portugal's broadcaster, RTP, just confirmed the participation of the country in the upcoming North Vision Song Contest after being the hosting nation for the previous edition.
In addition to our participation in the upcoming edition, we are thrilled to announce Festival da Canção as the method to select the Portuguese entrant again.
"Festival da Canção has played a crucial role in elevating Portuguese music and providing a platform for artists to shine. We are excited to continue this beloved tradition as we seek the next musical gem that will carry the Portuguese flag with pride," stated the Portuguese HoD.

  Bulgaria is back, back, back again! 26th June 2024 - Sofia, Bulgaria BNT has confirmed in a press meeting today that  Bulgaria will be present in the forthcoming 44th edition of North Vision Song Contest, to be held in  Andorra.
While Preslava's performance fell short of reaching the semi-final round, and the nation hasn't secured a spot in the grand finale since the 40th edition, BNT remains firmly committed to participating in the contest. In a statement by BNT: "Viewership figures for the previous edition did see a decline to their lowest level since the aforementioned 40th edition, however, we continue to be impressed by the enduring interest from both record labels and artists. We strongly believe that participation in the NVSC is an integral element in fostering a sense of unity and collaboration within the wider European artistic community."
NEW HEAD OF DELEGATION
David Illiev Banov will be the new head of the delegation of Bulgaria in Northvision, by a unanimous decision by the top management in BNT. During the conference, he said: "I look forward to us gathering artists and the audience again for a festive week in the spirit of music. My ambition is to show the musical and cultural tapestry of Bulgaria to Europe and Australia."
NEW METHOD OF SELECTION
BNT also officially revealed that the first-ever music festival BGFest will be held to determine the Bulgarian entry.
Some time ago, BNT appealed to the broad music industry in the Bulgarian music scene to sign up for the pre-selections. The song selection is underway by a jury committee panel. BNT also highlights that all viewers at home, together with a professional jury from other countries, can decide who will represent the country. More information will be revealed at a later time.

 Bosnia & Herzegovina confirms participation!
BHRT confirmed  Bosnia & Herzegovina's participation in the 44th edition of North Vision Song Contest. With the growing audience and increasing viewing figures, after a successful 13th place with the song 3, 4 Sad!, performed by beautiful Lamia, BHRT is eager to continue to showcase the country's music potential on the stage of the competition.
The artist and the song will be selected internally, and it is already announced that the act will be selected out of a shortlist of 6 artists that wish to represent the country. For now, there are no plans of hosting the national selection BH Vision, however, in case of supplimentary funding, it may be organized in the near future. |

After another unsuccessful edition we are ready to come back strong as usual with a song that we wanted to go for last time but couldn't because of the PQR holding us back. The artist we are sending is a duo consisting of a promising newcomer and a legendary modern underground producer on a very shoegaze influenced track.

San Marino confirms participation for NVSC 44!
San Marino RTV will be there in the next edition
despite the failure to qualify for the final show in the last edition,
 San Marino confirms for NVSC 44.
HoD: The fact that the contest takes place in a microstate will make us feel at home
If the contest moved from one microstate to another that would be awesome!
So will take part in the new edition hosted by Andorra.
We are already at a good point with the selection process of the songs that
will take part in the 21st Festival dei Castelli.
