Sorry for no fancy post. After much deliberations, I've decided to step down from the Australian HoD position and leave the forums. So Australia withdraws from this edition. Thank you everyone for a wonderful 10 years as part of this contest and forum. Good luck to everyone:) But you just confirmed and present a song. |

The HoD has made a decision to withdraw which has been reviewed and approved by the council. Countries retain the right to withdraw mid-edition in case of emergency situation. Hope this helps! |

Yseult to represent France at the Northvision Song Contest! France Télévisions is now available to reveal which hopeful artist and song is going to represent  France in neighboring Andorra for the upcoming edition of the contest, and between a lot of names, and songs, it was decided by the delegation that one name and one song has taken the heart, and will be sent to Andorra.
And as the title of this post says, yes, Yseult is gonna represent France.
.jpg) | | Yseult Onguenet is a French singer-songwriter and model, born in the Aisne department (02) to Cameroonian parents, she now currently resides in  Brussels.
She started her career in 2014, by competing in La Nouvelle Star, ending as the runner-up, following the show, she signed to Polydor then released her first song, La vague, following her departure from Polydor in 2018, she started her independent label, YYY, and released her first song as an independent in 2019 (Rien à prouver), then in 2020, she released Corps, and was nominated and won in February 2021 the Révélations Féminime de l'année at the Victoire de la musique, where she performed Corps.
During that time she released 3 EPs: Noir, Rouge and Brut. In parralel of her music career, she continued her modelling career, by becoming an egerie for L'Oréal in 2021, and modeled during the Fashion Week in 2023.
Her entry for the contest has been picked through her recent release, and although the temptation to send Alibi was "very high" according to one delegation member, sadly, the rules of the contest could not let it happen, and instead her song Perdue, which talks about a breakup, was selected.

Following the conclusion of yet another an incredibly competitive national final, the artist that took the crown in the Moroccan selection, and will be flying to Andorra is    Nora Fatehi. No stranger to the spotlight, the actress/dancer/singer got her start in 2014 as a actress in the Hindi film Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans. While her acting career focused primarily on her dancing, recently, she has made a transition over to music. In 2016, she was featured on the song "Dilbar," which currently has over 1.3 billion views on YT. She's featured in movies, the FIFA World Cup, and so much more. She will represent Morocco in Andorra with the song "Im Bossy."
In an interview with 2M, she said that she is overjoyed to be representing Morocco on this level. Nora said that "My career so far has been focused on Asia, and what a way to begin promotions in Europe. I'm so honoured to be given this opportunity."

  Bulgaria has found its representative in Northvision 44! 29th July 2024 - Sofia, Bulgaria  This afternoon, Bulgaria  unveiled the act that has won the national music competition BGFest and therefore will represent the nation in the 44th edition of the Northvision Song Contest in Andorra. During the press conference, the Head of Delegation also announced that (vasilisk ) will join the Bulgarian delegation from this edition on.
The winner has earned a total of 172 points, and BNT would like to introduce you to...
 Lunikk!Lunikk is a Bulgarian experimental pop duo created by Kristina Yordanova and Denislav Popov. Their name comes from the Bulgarian word for “Moon”.
Influences such as Led Zeppelin, Muse, Coldplay, Twenty One Pilots, Lorde, and Billie Eilish have helped the duo create the sound and melodies that the masses love today. Those influences have helped them also make a promise, a promise of never letting ego get in the way of their music, something this writer truly admires.
They will perform in Andorra with the entry "slo-mo". "Slo-mo" is from their debut album "Unreal City". The track blends softly-delivered vocal lines with atmospheric production, pulling from futuristic sounds and pounding, radio-ready rhythms. The gently, reverberating yet explosive chorus fuses melancholy melodies with the euphoric and the ethereal, guaranteeing an ear-wormer to stay with you long after the track is over.
