i think jury votes for the neighbors more than people. If it is like Festival da Canção's jury it's just HORRIBLE. We don't know the jury and we can't know if they understand anything about music

2011 semi final 2 Belarus instead Estonia... Estonia my favourite, Belarus my 4th favourite, too difficult situation... I didn't like Russia and UK from 2011 but Hungary was for place 8 to 15, not 22

If there was no jury, Norway still win ESC 2009. It was one of those rare occasions in which the jury and voters agreed. However, it still doesn't account for half of the entries for Eurovision being completely rigged and the other half wishing they were, with a couple being internally selected such as Azerbaijan and Serbia. In 2010, the contest was decided entirely by the voters, but not for national selections. There were still a few odd ones here and there, but not many. Due to Germany hosting Eurovision 2011 since it has been a unified democracy since 1989 and has always judged fairly since then; it completely demanded that Europe shape up or go home; i.e., complete voter decision, understanding of votes, vote by your country, and vote responsibly. Unfortunately, due to little voter turnout (possibly because it was one of the worst years for Eurovision and most of its fans don't live in Europe and thus can't vote), the decisions largely fell to the juries, and the juries bombed. And so the easternmost country that the EBU considers part of its union won, and now the fate of ESC 2012 is entirely up to us. Just let's hope Armenia wins. _^_^_
