What famous singers and bands are based or used to live near you?
Here's mine:
Chris Martin, lead singer of Coldplay, is from Exeter
Muse is based in Teignmouth, Devon, around 50 miles from Exeter
And finally...
Ella Edmondson went to my school ;D

Charice is from Cabuyao, Laguna, a 2 hour trip to my province of Quezon. 
Antony Costa from Blue: Born in the same area (not sure if the same hospital) and went to the same school.
Amy Winehouse: Born next to my borough and went to several schools in my borough.
Julian Perretta: Grew up nearby to where I'm from (and I volunteered at the same school where is sister works.)
DQ is from Næstved aswell 
Gabriella Cilmi used to live about 20 minutes from where I live
Robyn lives less than 10 minutes (if you take the subway) from me.
