Around 40 artists will compete at the Belorussian selection. Alyona Lanskaya, is rumored to be trying to represent Belarus fairly this year too. The semi final for EuroFest 2013 is scheduled for 16th November. The final will be held on November 7th, thus being the first country to date to announce their artist and song.

Israel yet again are having worries about the host city and racial issues. However I doubt a withdrawal will appear here, after big plans for a new national selection for the Israeli participation. Malmo is much more secure than Baku, the Azerbaijani government basically used Eurovision as propaganda. Hence why Emin was one of the interval acts, due to the government interfering with the whole contest.
