Nor are  Denmark,  Norway,  Spain,  Belgium and Switzerland imo. Denmark is a poptrack with bits of drums and flutes. Sure it's a slowtrack, but I don't recognize it as a typical ballad material. Same goes for Sweden. Norway is more electro-based poptrack. Not a ballad aswell. Switzerland is truly something opposite of ballad too. Some alternative rock material definitely. Lightly to be said on Spain too, just pop/rock. Belgium, well not ballad-ish. Just a regular poptrack. When I come to think of ballads, instruments used are heavily piano, acoustic guitarplay, or slowpaced keyboard-tunes. And then depending on what traditional melodies can specify, pointing out on  Croatia. |
