I reckon most entries in 2013 will be dance/pop songs, with the influence of Loreen winning.
It's like when Lordi won, many countries sent rock songs in the upcoming contests, like Iceland,Montenegro and Cyprus for example.
When El and Nikki won in 2011, many ballads went to Baku including the likes of Slovenia,Estonia,Bosnia and Herzegovina,Germany,Croatia,Albania and Spain.

2011 was a great year! Amazing array of songs, pop like Sweden and Estonia...and ballads like Lithuania and Austria.

I can't understand how  Azerbaijan won. There were many great songs that ended in the bottom (  Estonia,  Switzerland,  Hungary and  Spain) |

It was an awful winner, I must admit...most expected France to win in the UK.
Spain were very underrated, they had an adoring entry, same with Switzerland.

Well OGAE predicted  Hungary to win in 2011, but since live performance was rubbish, Kati went a heck down to nothing  Looking at  Azerbaijan, it was more like the show itself + block voting, nothing about the song + they sang horrible aswell too. |

In ESC 2011,The songs aren't very good(Except  Sweden)But When flagAzebaijan Azerbaijan debuting in the contest always was in Top 10. Azerbaijan wanted to win,like Sweden |
