I know I sended my message for my beloved Canada. And when do we have to take another country, as you said we should be more flexible? For now, there's not really a set amount of time that you should be changing your country. Just as long as everyone varies their chosen countries every once in a while. Like if someone keeps choosing countries like the USA, UK, Sweden, etc every edition then it would be a bit unfair

I've instead decided to make an NS for Finland, for #23, as I've only recently discovered the amazingness of its music

Updated rules regarding national selections
Selections for the 23rd edition; As I'll be taking a week long break from ISC (and then it'll take me another week to get everything ready), you can now start creating your selections for the 23rd edition. However, you must still send me a message via YouTube before creating your selections and you must wait for a confirmation message. The main rules for selections still apply; 6-16 songs in a selection, voting must be open for 3 days, a video recap must be created, etc. If the winning user from the 21st edition wants to create a selection for the 23rd edition then he will have priority over which country he'd like to make a selection for. A message will be sent to the participant soon.
Selections for the 24th edition; once the 22nd edition begins, you can then start creating your selections for the 24th edition. Once again; you must still send me a message via YouTube before creating your selections and you must wait for a confirmation message.
A few notes
* If you're planning on creating selections for every edition of ISC, please try to be varied in terms of which countries you choose.
* If you inform me that you'd like to create a NS for (example) the United States for the 24th edition, but you later decide that you are not able to host that selection, you will then lose that country and you will have to wait for the 23rd edition to begin before you confirm your participation.
If there are anymore points that need adding then I shall add them later. But what to do if there are 2 users and they take the United Kingdom & United States to make a national selection and after those edition they reverse that countries with each? This doesn't look very fair for the users who doesn't want to make a national selection like me.

This doesn't look very fair for the users who doesn't want to make a national selection like me. If that happens and the same 2 users are constantly taking the "popular" countries, then they will be told to change their countries. Although I'm hoping that people wont abuse the new NS rules in that way

This discussion will last forever... In a few editions there will be a poll and "No" will win. Then a few editions later "Yes" will win.

At the end of the day, the rules aren't going to please everyone. It's difficult to make rules which will please over 50 people.
