Eurovision 2013: Our way to Malmö

Introducing to... AZERBAIJAN

We're taking off from Baku, from the Land Of Fire, Azerbaijan, making way to arrive in the Malmö Arena till May!! We've got our bus, and we'll meet artists, visit countries till Sweden! Will there be some free places for our 39 contestants? We still don't know. Our bus is magical and everything is impossible to predict!

So as I've said, we're still in Azerbaijan, we've just finished to eat a tasty Kebab, and we're tripping around the city! Azerbaijan is a very special country, is also full of Swedish composers, and also modern occidental structures, and it's got a full pronunciable country name; Azerjaban!







And where the culture meets the other side, the big globalization, we have just met their representant for Eurovision Song Contest 2013! Farid Mammadov is a young, charismatic boy with the classic oriental stereotypes, the dark eyes and hair, but still a white light in his presence. He's 21, and has beat the other contestants in Azeri's national selection. His song, "Hold Me" is a strong ballad, with Turkish-Ethnic influences, thing that makes it more intresting and catchy. He lost his tickets for the airplane (What a hard luck!), so we asked him if he would come with us inside our crazy bus! Meanwhile, listen here to his song:





Our way doesn't stop here at all! We just hope to not loose the fuel and to make it to Yerevan!
