I'm just wondering... What do you guys think it takes to host an online song contest? Lot of determination, inspiration, dedication, patience and time It is a long and time consuming process to start a contest, host it and make it grow, so if you are not a fan of that, then there are a lot of great contests out there to join but if you are up for the task, then it is a lot of fun It takes time and requires patience and motivation, but once your contest starts to grow, it is very rewarding and the feeling you get watching your contest grow from the ground up with all your hard work is a feeling like no other You just need everything mentioned above + a good preferably unique idea and you are ready to go |

I have experience hosting contests so i sometimes think about hosting one here, but the truth is I don’t really have any ideas  |

Right now I am hosting one. And probably it is the that will make me work as hell which is good. It is called Rello Song Contest. It is a new one, the first edition is almost ending so submissions for the second edition are not open for now. But they will probably be open around the 12th November. The contest will have website, a Facebook Group and a Discord server, in the website it will be possible to download the .mp3 files. The recap, the playlist of the competition via Youtube and Spotify and the info about the semi finals and grand finals, all of that will be posted on the website, Discord and Facebook group. You will be able to claim fantasy countries but not create, because we plan to make no one discover what country you are. You will be anonymous. Just wanted to pop in and say officially why I haven't been on the forums much recently. I have been focused mainly on ORGs (online reality games), mainly Survivor ones in which I recently placed 2nd in one as well as running my own. I deffo make sure to check in here in case I need to vote in any contests I'm currently in because I still enjoy song contests (rn I'm only in FC and FoIM, if Canada was kept for me I'll be in FoM too). But yeah it's been rough lately irl, I'm currently drained to high heavens from something and yeah. Talk to y'all later ^-^
