Is English hard to learn?? It depends upon the person who is learning it and their native language, it would easier (in theory) for a speaker of German, Dutch, Frisian, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish (because they're all in the Germanic family) to learn English than it would to someone who speaks Arabic, Hebrew (semitics), Chinese (sino-tibetan), Turkish (altaic) to even languages such as Basque (proto-basque) |

Spelling - predominately. Also in some uses of certain words have different meaning in each, some forms of grammar. Chips in America are Crisps in the UK ... Memorise - British English / Memorize - American English |
