The Ukrainians who are protesting on the Independence Square want to be closer to Europe (and the Eurozone) and away from Russia. They want a better governance and Ukrainian President Yanukovych (who is known to be a Moscow-ally) be ousted from his position. Correct me though if there are some discrepancies on my explanation.  |
