It isn't folk music, it was in the dialect of our provincial capital in Limburg, Maastricht. Almost every city/village has it's own dialect in Limburg.  And it will never qualify  , unless he or she is known internationally. Sigh... |

Due to the qualification of Leslie & Ivyrise for the final of the first edition,  France 3 unlocked some funds... A French National selection will take place in the next days ! The show will be called "Duels". 4 songs will fight for a place in the next edition! More informations really soon! |

 Lisbon ~ Over 5.000 singers and bands have come to the casting for being chosen to be the one who rpresents Portugal in the next NVSC. Out of those 5.000 participants, 10 have qualified for the internal selection. They have to record and show their songs to the professional Jury. Here are the 10 finalists: The jury hasn't chosen yet but they have two favourites. What is you favourite? |

If  L1 can find it to get the NSVC board of directors to tell us any country can make a national selection like  Switzerland has, or  Estonia wants, it should be able to every country, not to get a disadvantage from it. |

The head of  ARMTV thinks, that this shouldn't be allowed, so that every country only can send singers from it's own country and not from other countries - that is also the reason, why ARMTV wants, that Switzerland doesn't have this advantage anymore. So to put it in a nutshell: I think NONE of the countries shall get this advantage. PS.: I also don't understand, why Switzerland became this advantage  |
