For listening in the daily, fair enough. But for competing

Yeah, it's one of my favourites too. Why those hate for that great song here above..? I agree that it's an awesome song, but I think it's very overused What's wrong with the fact it's overused? I'm always voting for the songs which I like, it doesn't matter for me if it's overused or not.

We should have a country charts place where people can put the countries charts or something.

I'm always voting for the songs which I like, it doesn't matter for me if it's overused or not. The problem is if someone sent for example 'Boys Will Be Boys' and wins which happened before with tons of original songs, people will be moaning about the winner! It's okay if you like the song, but people don't give high points to overused songs but some people do if they like them! If you get what I mean! :-)

Icelandic broadcaster RÚV answers about their entry for NVSC #3: "Our plan is to try all forms of music. What we want to say is that as you can see in NVSC #1 we had Greta and she is female artist and in NVSC #2 we had Magni who is male artis. So now we are sending a group. We were thinking about that and the result is that Of Monsters and Men will represent our country. It is well known group. We chose "Little Talks" because it is a super hit in many countries. After bad result of Magni we try to make it better. Many of you says it is overused song, but we don't care about it. We love this song and if you says it's overused so don't vote but we think it's not about overused, but about how much you like the song. If you have any questions feel free to ask and good luck to everybody "Delegation of National Broadcaster Ríkisútvarpið.

If you get what I mean! :-) I have a huge problem with people overusing songs. It is helpful when you see the user who sent it because if it's a very new user, I'll let them off. But if it's eurovisionbelgiumfan who's sent an overused song, that just annoys me. It makes me question whether people have original thoughts anymore. This makes me happy that my contest has original songs, because it has a community of people who also share my frustration with overused songs, and therefore every song is reasonably original. I've sent quite a few songs to contests that became overused: "Banjo Laura" is a good one.
