 RTP confirmed Portugal's participation. The contest has been promoted because the people in Portugal didn't like the Contest neither the rules. Now there are solid viewing figures and more and more artists are interested in the Contest. However RTP hasn't confirmed an artist/song yet. |

 AzerbaijanTV (AzTV) can now officially confirm Azerbaijan's participation (debut) in the next edition of NVSC.
It has been decided that both the artist and song will be chosen internally by a jury made up of a number of well known Azeri record producers.More to be revealed at a later date. |
