2.656 people will be fired. EPT will close tonight at 00:00 o'clock (greece hour) for 3 months.
ΕΡΤ is consisting by three channels which are: ET1 & NET in Athens and ET3 in Thessaloniki. EBU expressed their anger with our government because they cancel the broadcasting of EPT in the whole world. Many people from europe and from countries like USA and australia can't believe what's happening. Is the first time worldwide that a channel stops broadcasting without any reason. People are together in the big greek cities and complaing about it. Nobody knows what is going to happen. More news soon... |

I'm very ashamed of our country.
Crisis in Greece is because of our goverment.Our politicians robbed public money for them and their families,in order to build houses and wealth.And now that 1,500,000 people are unemployed,they put the blame on us! They close the channel that was the only public in Greece without any reason and they don't tell us why.This is just unacceptable and I think we'll react with much anger.

We will go to ESC#2014 now you believe that EPT will re-open again? I don't think so. And we don't have another broadcaster. And if we want to apply for membership in EBU with another channel it may take years... |
