Yesterday the Scandinavium and the NBU staff allowed NVSC fans to enter the arena and see how the stage is made and they were allowed as well to take photos. The NBU and SVT team decided to reveal some new informations about the stage, for the people who weren't able to come at the Scandinavium Arena yesterday.
The trusses behind the stage have started to be covered by the LED screen components. The floor is being covered by LEDs as well. One of the two colums that will partially hold the huge LED ring above the stage is nearly completed and they are as well covered by LEDs. But the big surprise of yesterday was testing the pyrotechnic effects. So far, fog machines and fire blasters were assembled, but the stage will be also furnished of firework machines. The test was successfully done and the present people, but also the workers, enjoyed the pyros jumping and illuminating everything.
  
The stage will be most likely completed on 12th August, unfortunately with a little delay.
The Scandinavium decorations and the green rooms will be ready on 14th August.
We invite broadcasters to send their Performance/Staging plan for their artists/songs as soon as possible by PM to Rick and read every info about how does that work in this thread:

Lepland represented Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan with the song "Kuula" placing 6th in the final. He also waved the Estonian flag at the 1st NVSC final, gaining the 5th place, the best ever result of Estonia.

NVSC #5 Plans!
Today, the Head of the Luxembourgish delegation has stated that so far, 20 songs were submitted for the Luxembourg's national final for NVSC #5. The RTL Members are searching for a format for the brand new National Selection which will most likely have more rounds. |

Now I've seen:  Albania: The broadcaster withdrew participation shortly after the Albanian song was revealed, do to lack of support from other countries surrounding their chosen song. Really !?  If you send a bad song ... |

I think I found a solution for borrowing (not for the mini-countries) 1. If a NS is made for a country and it has at least 3 unoverused songs, this means that 1 foreign artist can participate in the specific NS. From here, there are 4 variants : 1. The artist can be from Europe 2. The artist can be from a country that doesn't participate in NVSC. 3. The artist can be from everywhere. 4. The artist can be from a region that influenced and has appropiated history/language. If we'll choose no. 4, then I'll tell you the regions. Like an example : can borrow from  Finland and Russia. Or  Austria can borrow from  Hungary and Germany. This is what I was thinking about : if the X country doesn't want to use it, than it won't. But if the Y country wants, it uses. |
