 EPT choose not to commit to NVSC #4 as of yet. We'd like to see some success from Paola, hopefully. Struggles in keeping EPT stable are still ongoing, even with the support from the NBU the government are still a threat to the broadcasters security and activity. A meeting on 17th June, is going ahead to convince the government to support EPT. A Greek confirmation will more likely around after the current contest, as for now there's no comment from the head of delegation, Shane Papadea. EPT do wish to stay in the contest, as it's very good for promotion and profits. |

 Czech Republic decided to make a second national selection.
In Píseň pro Českou Republiku #2 there will be 4 artists.
Česká televize will announce an artist every day.
The first artist is:
Jason Mraz - I'm Yours
I think he'd be very unlikely to represent the Czech Republic. |

 France confirms  Since I'm leaving tonight for 2 weeks, it's very unlikely to have a NS. Anyway, I would love to make a new "Duels" edition if the deadline is long enough.  |

 Great News for Portugal
After a big discussion in the headquarters of the broadcaster and fan 'demonstrations' on social networks the head of RTP decided that Portugal will not withdraw from the NVSC. After good results in the last editions RTP wants to support 'the voice of the fans' and will be holding a National Selection. Three different songs by different artists will be competing for the ticket for the NVSC. Fans feel very delighted about the news. The National Selection will be starting this evening. (21:00 CET)
Newspapers are rumouring that RTP claimed the withdrawal only to get attention. |
