I would have nothing against  Libya and  Egypt participating in NVSC, they have close ties with Europe, are in the EBU and since  Tunisia,  Morocco, and  Algeria already participate, I don't see an issue.  As for  Kosovo, I really don't care, I haven't heard any complaints against it in other contests, neither in NVSC, but I can see that it's a controversial question, as Kosovo is not yet recognized by all members of the United Nations, I can also see that it's kind of a bad topic to take into discussion, because there are Serbians on the forum, and knowing a few Serbians myself, they generally don't like talking about the Yugoslavian conflicts or Kosovo. As for any other countries, my answer will be no, simply because NVSC is crowded already as is, and there really is not many other countries to talk about. |

but I am a guy with an open mind I say: Kosovo has lots of singers, a lot of music and it is right to have its country to represent its music.

Kosovo is the only one out of the 3 that makes sense.  Gibraltar and  Greenland have nowhere as many artists as Libya or Egypt. If we allowed Gibraltar or Greenland, they wouldn't be able to borrow from UK/Spain (Gibraltar) or Denmark (Greenland) and this would make searching for artists even harder for users. Greenland has less artists than the Faroes, and to be honest, I've never even heard of an artist from Gibraltar - while I have heard of several for Egypt and Libya. What do you have against Libya and Egypt? They are in no way as controversial as Kosovo, and the Israel question is nonsense because this is still fiction. Kosovo isn't rejected because of realism, but because some of our users feel offended if we included Kosovo. I don't see any of our users offended with the Arabic countries. |

imo from all the countries that you quoted I would keep Kosovo only. Logan proved that they had a larhe music industry thanks to IMF (of course Rita Ora wouldn't participate). I was originaly against  sislands Faroe Islands because it goes against the realism searched in this contest and because I thought they would be represented by popular Danish artists (like all the others contests). I totally agree with the idea that should not participate Gibraltar, Greenland or Åland Islands because the users would send famous artists from the countries they can borrow from, Libya, Egypt and Iran because they don't even appear on the NVSC map... But Kosovo? I don't know if you remember it but Kosovo was allowed to participate in Eurovision Young Dancers Contest! Doesn't it prove that this country should be able to participate? I think btw that our Serbian users should be asked about that because they are concerned about it! Kosovo should be the last country to enter NVSC btw... |

I prefer Kosovo, Gibraltar or Greenland... and NOT Lybia and Egypt What do you have against Libya and Egypt? I have nothing against these two countries! When I asked for Egypt someone answered NO |
