Actually, for the first edition, we have two semifinals. Each Semifinal has 16 , makes 32 in total.  Sweden,host country (decided by random draw), is already qualified. ----- But, you have to decide: - Should we keep the same system for the upcoming editions?[more participants= more semifinal participants] - Should there be a amount of participants (for instance 55 particiapants, 1 final qualifier (winner) , 3 Semifinals, 2 with 18 and one with 19) - Or do you want Wildcard battles ? - Do you want a "Big 5" ? If yes, should the big 5 be the Top 5 of lasts edition, or decide them by a draw? International Music Festival is a contest for you and you can decide which system you prefer! |

I think you should have more SF's if there are more participants.  A Big 5 made up of the Top 5 of last year wouldn't be bad at all. And maybe a wildcard battle, although, it's getting a bit too common these days. But it's just my opinion... |

I would like the first and last option too. Also with top 5 from the edition before, but how do you want to do that at the first edition?

Agree with first and second !  But I don't want to be there a big 5 , because if I have a good entry and I will come in top 5 , next edition is possible that I send a weak song , which goes dirrectly in the final and other better song may stay in semi final I don't want the wildcard battle , if I would take the ticket to the wildcard , I will kow that I will not have chance to win because in the most cases the songs in top 3 of semi finals have chance to win the final , and if I would be on 10th or 11th , I will know that I haven't chance to win , so it has no sense to be in the final Understand ?? |
